Rest of Nepal – #3

I milked a cow! Well, I helped...a little bit... Day #11 must have been a pretty chill day, because I only have a handful of pictures. That's saying something considering I took well over a thousand pictures in the time we were in Nepal. We hung out around Kalpana's home and ate some food at a relative's house. But the most eventful thing that day was the first thing I did that day, which was to milk the cow. Rest of Nepal – #2

Kalpana's Grandfather - he's 98 now (97 in this picture). What was really great about this trip was getting to spend time and get to know Kalpana's family. Sometimes you don't realize the things you have in common because languages and cultures are sometimes very different. While we do have different languages and cultures, Kalpana's family has been very accepting of me. This picture above with Kalpana's grandfather is one great example of this. This man was 97 years old in this picture and here he is with his arm around me, accepting me as a part of the family
